Rathin Halder has been deeply passionate about creative works from his high school in 1997. Alongside his interests in drama, music, recitation, writing, painting, and filming, photography quickly became his favourite medium. In 2000, after leaving college, he landed a job at a Mumbai-based production house as a cameraman, where he was involved in the creation of “Maano Ya Na Maano,” a non-fiction series hosted by the legendary Irfan Khan. Over the course of his career, he has remained dedicated to both video creation and still photography, collaborating with a range of production houses, agencies, and independent clients. His diverse portfolio encompasses short films, documentaries, and product and fashion shoots.
In 2007, he established his own wedding photography company, which has enjoyed continued success ever since. Recently, he has taken on the role of photography mentor for Panasonic Lumix, which he has been doing for the past two years. With an abundance of experience in the industry, Rathin is now focused on expanding his presence in the digital world.
